As a cooperation partner, the Rapid Planning Team FRA-UAS/FFin together with the Association of Town, Regional and State Planning (SLR) and the German Academy for Urban and Regional Spatial Planning (DASL) participated in the reporting event about the recent progresses of the new development concepts and frameworks of “Offenbach am Main/// Wiesbaden /// Frankfurt am Main”. The event was hosted at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences on October the 7th 2016. The presenters showed the latest developments, actual state and current progresses of the Integrated City Development Concepts of the three cities.
The three presentations:
- “Master Plan Offenbach: For the Offenbach of Tomorrow” by Marion Rüber-Steins, The agency coordinator of the City Development of Offenbach
- “WISEK Wiesbaden’s Integrated City Development Concept” by Thomas Metz, The director of the City Planning Department of Wiesbaden
- “Integrated City Development Concept Frankfurt am Main 2030” by Martin Hunscher, director of the City Planning Department of Frankfurt am Main
After the presentations, the floor was opened for discussing the individual role of each city in driving urban development as well as the potential of a coordinated work and deeper regional cooperation.
