The 2016 Rapid Planning Stakeholder Conference Kigali/Rwanda, 9 November 2016
Almost two years of Rapid Planning activity in Kigali have passed. It was about time to share results and discuss further steps in cooperation with stakeholders in Kigali. An excursion on 10 November provided the opportunity to view the entry project in Agatare with erosion control at the Biryogo school, greywater treatment and collaboration with the Agatare agricultural cooperative. There were lively exchanges with our Rwandan stakeholders from the City of Kigali, the Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA), the Nyarugenge District with the community of Agatare Cell, the Agatare Biryogo Primary School, the Agatare agricultural cooperative, the waste management company COPED, the Rwanda Environmental Conservation Organization (RECOR), the University of Rwanda, The Rwanda Environmental Management Authority, and others. The exchange allowed to sharpen the agenda for research and implementation activities for the coming year.
